One Seed Forward Volunteers

One Seed Forward is a community growing initiative that encourages schools, community groups and individuals to grow their own fruit and vegetables.

Tullos Primary has been selected as one of three Aberdeen schools to take part in an Aberdeen School Garden project that will create a food growing space in school grounds which will be used as an outdoor learning area for schoolchildren to engage with the earth by planting and growing vegetables and fruits.

We would like to involve the community in the project as well as the kids. Right now we need some volunteers to spare a few hours to help clear the overgrown garden at Tullos Primary. Even if you could spare an hour that would be great! We will have some tools but if you could bring your own and gardening gloves then that would be a big help.

Going forward, we want to work with community volunteers who could help look after the garden during school holidays etc. If you have an interest in gardening, food growing or would just like to lend a hand, we would love to hear from you.

If you would like to take part, please message our One Seed Forward Facebook page or email us at
