RNIB Volunteers

We’re the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), supporting blind and partially sighted people. We offer practical and emotional support to those that need us, so that people can continue living life to the full.

We’ have opportunities in Aberdeen for enthusiastic individuals to assist us. This includes:

* Social Activities Helpers – Are you friendly and outgoing? We are seeking people to assist at our regular social and special interest activities groups for blind and partially sighted people. You will help set up activities, make everyone feel welcome, assist with preparing light refreshments and having a friendly chat with group participants.

* Volunteer Driver(s) – Do you enjoy driving and meeting people? Can you help us by driving blind and partially sighted people from their homes to various appointments, activities and services within your local area? This would be done using your own vehicle. Most of the driving would be done on Thursdays.

A fantastic opportunity to help and all assistance is greatly appreciated.
