North Atlantic Fiddle Convention Volunteers

The North Atlantic Fiddle Convention is a world-class event unlike any other. It brings together some of the world’s top musicians, dancers and academics to perform and discuss the rich fiddle and dance styles that have developed around the North Atlantic seaboard. The North Atlantic Fiddle Convention visits Aberdeen from the 11–15 of July 2018.

The North Atlantic Fiddle Convention (NAFCo) is gearing up for its biggest and most exciting year yet! Heaps of gigs, workshops, jams, talks, and so much more! We’re in need of as many volunteers as possible to help out. In return, we will provide our volunteers with tickets to events and workshops. NAFCo is a charming mix of festival and academic convention, bringing together the best musicians, the best minds, and a ton of very passionate fans of all things folk. We’d love to get as many people as possible involved in this unique, exciting, and truly different experience. We have a range of exciting volunteer roles including:

*Event Stewards
*North Atlantic Fiddle Convention Promotion Volunteers
*Venue Co-ordinators
*Volunteer Drivers

Good support is provided to all volunteers and we will have training nights to go to before the convention starts, providing details of roles and responsibilities.
