Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland seeks to increase public awareness and understanding of individuals with spina bifida and / or hydrocephalus and allied conditions. It supports all those affected to identify their needs and to empower people to make informed choices and decisions.
On Sunday 24th March 2019 we are holding our well know Aberdeen Tower Abseil where participants will take part to raise money for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland. We are looking for volunteers to come along and help with registration and to help cheer on our participants, this is very important as we want everyone to feel special for taking part and encouragement at this event helps people with their fears and that we appreciate them.
The event happens at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on Sunday 24th March 2019. The event starts at 10am till 4pm but we would not ask anyone to be there all day – even if you could spare an hour or two it will be greatly appreciated and make a real difference.
The Community Fundraising Manager will be there all day to show you where to go and what to be saying to participants to encourage them. Tea/Coffee and cakes will be bought for volunteers as well.
