Absafe Volunteers

*Could you shape future generations? *Are you looking to make a difference in our city? *Do you have free time Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays? *Are you looking to gain valuable skills and experience to boost your CV? *Are you looking for something new, meaningful and exciting to do in your life?

If the answer to any of those questions is YES; then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Absafe is the North-East of Scotland’s only charity dedicated to safety education.

From our facility, The Safe, we create a safety adventure to make learning about safety and risk assessment an experience to remember. There are 6 rooms at our premises – The Safe – each teaching a different aspect of health and safety including internet safety, fire safety, road safety, rail safety, bullying and hate crime, home safety and solvent abuse. We’re with you on your safety journey – from interactive lessons for children and safety awareness for school leavers, to safety engagement in the workplace and community. And this is where we need YOU! Volunteering at Absafe is an experience like no other. As one of our volunteers, you’re part of a close-knit team, all with a common goal – to use education to save lives. You’ll help us deliver our dynamic safety sessions with the Absafe team to young people and all we ask for is plenty of energy, a positive attitude and an interest in developing your own skills. The safe can’t operate on a daily basis without volunteers; they are the life force of our operation.

If you think you could add any value to our team or you’re looking to add skills and experience to your CV please get in touch. For more information about The Safe or how you could help please contact us at Email: volunteers@absafe.org.uk  or via our website: http://www.absafe.org.uk/
