Arts Project Steward Volunteers | Curated Place

We are looking for volunteers to be a pivotal role in the delivery of the exciting ‘Nordics in Exile’ project, which is a light and sound installation by Danish composer Eyvind Gulbrandsen and Scottish designer James Johnson. This takes place on the 8th and 9th March (17:30-21:30 each evening) at The Kirk of St Nicholas, Union Street, Aberdeen.

Volunteers can be involved in a mixture of indoor and outdoor stewarding. The stewards will be the key members of the team and roles include –

>Welcoming and crowd control >Directing people and offering advice & information >On site production assistance >Crowd management and safety >Reporting incidents & accidents >Assisting with emergency situations

The role involves talking to people to help them with any problems they have, looking out for any hazards and keeping the Producer informed of what is happening on the ground. The steward is the frontline face of the project, and the most important person that can enhance the publics experience through knowledge of the project and a personnel approach.  We want people who are positive and keen to help us deliver an exceptional customer experience.

To volunteer/for more information please contact Stephen Nuttall, Producer at E Mail: stephen@curatedplace.com or Tel: 07966662978. All help is greatly appreciated.
