Athletics Officials | Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club

The mission of Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club is to create an environment for athletes to achieve their potential in sport and in life.  Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club, above all things, believes in and values:

*INCLUSION, offering opportunities in athletics to everyone;

*COMMUNITY, creating a culture of friendliness, involvement, and cooperation;

*FUN, emphasizing enjoyment and camaraderie in sport;

*EMPOWERMENT, shaping an environment conducive to growth and autonomy;

*PERFORMANCE & COMPETITION, striving to achieve one’s personal best.

With over 400 members, the Club has a range of training groups and coaches catering for athletes aged from 9 and over through to seniors and veterans. We promote all aspects of athletics from road running, cross country, hill running to track and field and the Club has teams which compete in outdoor and indoor track and field and cross country leagues each year.

We have great opportunities to help support Aberdeen’s local athletics community by volunteering as an official for indoor and outdoor track and field competitions. Opportunities include volunteering to be a field judge, time keeper, race starter, track judge, photo finish helper and much more! We also have volunteer administration opportunities, managing registrations and results. Aberdeen AAC can help volunteers earn Athletics Officials qualifications if they wish as well. A fantastic and exciting opportunity to be involved in athletics and its successful future development in Aberdeen-all help is greatly appreciated. Please contact us for further details at: Brian Pahlmann (Club Manager) E Mail: / tel.: 07521 082781.
