We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help us deliver this exciting summer programme as part of a volunteer ‘team’ of Family Fun Supporters! As a volunteer you will also be there to help set up the workshop activities and then tidy up after the session finishes. Please volunteer for as many of the days/sessions as you would like or are able to manage.
As part of our summer Family Fun offer, there will be 4 artist led puppet craft activity days at Aberdeen Maritime Museum. This programme supports our Punch & Judy exhibition. There will be two free, drop-in days where participants can get creative with textile designer Elaine Grant and make a colourful array of puppets to take home. Each date will feature different craft activities, aimed at families with children aged 3-12 years.
Volunteering for the Family Fun summer programme is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a busy programme of cultural activity in Aberdeen. It provides a fun and sociable way to build your CV and gain experience in public engagement, working with children and creative workshop and event delivery. Volunteers will develop key skills including; team working, customer service and communication.
