National Childbirth Trust (NCT – Aberdeen) Volunteers

Our vision at the National Childbirth Trust is of a world in which no parent is isolated and all parents are supported to build a stronger society. Our charitable purposes are to: *offer information and support in pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. *campaign to improve maternity care and ensure better services and facilities for new parents. *give every parent the chance to make informed choices. *make sure that everyone has access to our services and activities. Locally, in Aberdeen City and the ‘shire we provide support for parents and parents-to-be by being the local face of NCT. We run weekly groups, fundraising events and social events as well as a variety of training courses.

We currently have exciting opportunities to assist us volunteering. All help makes a real difference and is greatly appreciated. Volunteer roles we are currently seeking additional help for include:

*Bumps, Babies and Beyond Group Volunteers – Ferryhill: Full details available at

*NCT Website coordinator: Full details available at:

*Social Media Volunteer: Full details available at:

*Branch Secretary: Full details available at:

A great way to support local parents and carers. NCT Aberdeen City and Shire are a local branch of a national charity, we provide support to parents in the first 1000 days. Our groups and support are open to all.
