AYM main purpose is to act as a bridge between young people aged 12-25 in Aberdeen and organisations who make decisions that affect them. At AYM, hearing and representing the voices of young people is central to everything we do. It is always our goal to ensure that young people have access to information that helps them make informed decisions AYM empowers young people to actively participate in local, national, and international decision-making processes. AYM fosters a community where youth voices lead the way in shaping a more inclusive future.
AYM is run by a steering group which is made up of young people, aged between 16-25 years, from different areas and interest groups in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen Youth Movement is the official voice of young people in Aberdeen. It works with many bodies in the city to improve representation of young people in the Aberdeen.
