About this opportunity

CFINE is an award-winning charity and social enterprise. It improves health & wellbeing and the environment, tackles poverty and builds resilience through a range of support and services for and with disadvantaged, vulnerable, low-income individuals, families, and communities in North-east Scotland.

We are looking to recruit a new member to our Board of Directors.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the governance and strategic direction of an award-winning charity and social enterprise.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to recruit someone who shares CFINE’s values. We welcome applications from people with experience in a wide range of sectors, but are especially keen to hear from candidates with expertise in:

• Law/Legal Services
• Human Resources
• Commercial/Sales

About the role

The Board focuses on governance and strategic direction. The position of Board member is a voluntary, unpaid one, however reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Attendance at Board meetings (every 2 months)
• Attendance at the AGM
• Willingness to participate meaningfully in the decision-making processes of the Board
• Act as an ambassador for CFINE
