Leading north-east cancer charity, Clan Cancer Support is appealing for volunteers to support local people impacted by cancer.

Volunteers are essential in helping Clan to provide a wide range of services to anyone affected by cancer. No matter what time you can give or what skills you can bring, Clan can offer you a special and rewarding volunteering experience.

We have a range of volunteer roles available in locations in Aberdeen City, throughout Aberdeenshire, Moray, Orkney and Shetland. Each role contributes significantly to our mission of providing support to anyone impacted by a cancer diagnosis. This includes Listening and Support Volunteers, Shop /Retail Volunteers, Events Volunteers, Clan Garden Volunteers, Volunteer Drivers, and much more.

Pamela Fenton, Clan Volunteer Team Leader said: 'You don’t need to be a cancer expert to be a volunteer with Clan. You do need to be a good listener and to give your time. In return you’ll get training and the opportunity to play an important role in your local cancer support charity.
