About this opportunity
Be part of something brilliant and volunteer at the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Kiltwalk!
The Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire Kiltwalk takes place on Sunday 7th June 2026. There are two main walks - The Mighty Stride from Bellfield Park (Banchory) to Duthie Park (Aberdeen City Centre) and the Wee Wander Cults Academy (Cults) to Duthie Park (Aberdeen City Centre), with a range of exciting volunteer opportunities to assist along the route.
The Kiltwalk is more than a walk, it’s a celebration of kindness, community, and causes that matter. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the magic happen.
With 10 diverse roles available, there’s something for everyone across the 23-mile route, giving you the chance to get involved and help keep the day running smoothly. You’ll meet inspiring people, soak up an incredible atmosphere, and know that your time and energy are directly supporting thousands of participants every step of the way.
Best of all, walkers take part for a charity of their choice, meaning your support helps raise vital funds for causes across Scotland.
Whether you can give a few hours or the whole day, your energy makes a real difference.
Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers, including any travel reimbursement up to £20 may be covered, as detailed in our Kiltie Support Policy. All Kiltie Volunteers receive training and support to carry out their assigned roles and are kitted out in bright blue Kiltie uniforms provided by Official Kit Partners, Trespass. If you would like to learn new skills, meet new people and have a truly rewarding experience, then apply to be a Kiltie Volunteer with us.
Join the team. Feel the buzz. Help change lives, one step at a time.
