An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NESCAN Hub Board. Are you passionate about community development and empowerment and acting on climate change? If so, we need you to help advise and steer the Board in relation to people management, alongside general Board work.
Board members contribute to the delivery of the Hub’s vision and aims by providing leadership and direction, ensuring good governance and advice to the NESCAN Hub staff team. This is a volunteer role that will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to be an integral part of our dedicated team and make a positive impact on the North East of Scotland, its communities, and environment.
About the role
This volunteer role requires approximately 4-6 hours commitment per month, including attendance at quarterly Board meetings (2 hours in person) in Aberdeen and the running of and attendance at our HR & People Subgroup. You will use your HR skills and experience to help support the Board and organisation in people development and management. Ideally, you will be a CIPD member, with relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
