SC&T - Scottish Culture and Traditions is a charitable organisation dedicated to educating the public in Scottish traditional music song and dance with an emphasis on enjoyment and community. We run both adult and youth programmes of activities, including regular weekly classes, workshops, taster sessions, week-long camps and performance opportunities.

The adult programme is largely self-sustaining, but we endeavour to provide free or subsidised places to those from disadvantaged communities and students. The Youth programme is supported to large extent by Creative Scotland, but we still have to raise significant funds ourselves as it is a condition of their grant that all activities are completely free to the young folk themselves.

Excellent support and guidance is provided to all volunteers. The volunteer will be briefed on the organisation and its historic funding. Also on most recent funding applications and sources of funding that we have used in the past.
