WALK TO GIVE HER A VOICE 2026

Join us on Saturday 23rd May 2026 at Aberdeen Beach, for a 4K walk organised by the The Period Place charity (the walk kicks off at the Aberdeen Beach Ballroom).

The Period Place organise this important 4K community walk at Aberdeen Beach called ‘Walk to Give Her a Voice’ to raise awareness and support for menstrual health issues. Participants walk together to combat period shame and stigma while raising funds to provide first period kits to girls in need. Compassionate and knowledgeable doctors are available to answer questions from participants. The event, free to attend is celebrating World Menstrual Hygiene Day.

Volunteers would be involved in the smooth running of the walk, either through helping with registering walkers, guiding the route or similar. Volunteers will be trained into the role they are assigned to.

A fantastic opportunity to support a vital charity and be part of a major event in Aberdeen. All help makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.
