We believe every child and young person deserves the same opportunity to succeed and so we provide free, immersive, instrumental music tuition to pupils and pre-school children. This leads to an enhanced ability to learn in school, improvements in emotional wellbeing, confidence and esteem, as well as the acquisition of a range of social and life skills.

Whether you are supporting a child as a befriender or mentor through our 1:1 befriending and mentoring programmes, helping them build skills and make friends at our group activity sessions or youth clubs, or supporting our fundraising team, you will be playing an active role in changing the life of a local child or young person.

We are always looking for volunteers who are reliable, compassionate and kind, to support young people when they need it the most. Our volunteer mentors spend 2-3 hours twice a month with their young person enjoying activities and outings in the community which are goal-focused and child-led.

The Mum and Toddler Group aims to lead discussion amongst local women, and provide a space to build connections and community. The children range from 0-4 years old. At this age range, children are active, inquisitive and developing their personalities! The main goal of this volunteering role is playing with and caring for the children

ARCHIE Child Bereavement Service (part of the ARCHIE Foundation charity) provide direct support to bereaved children and young people throughout Grampian. Due to an increased demand in our service we are seeking volunteers in a variety of areas including: responders to visit bereaved families, fundraisers, event and admin helpers and a treasurer.
