The OpenSpace Trust is a charity that owns the former East Kirk of St Nicholas. The next stage of our work will involve creating a 4-storey building within the shell of the former East Kirk. It will have a total area of more than 1600m2 with a focus on heritage of the building and of the city.

This role is part of our wider awareness programme and is crucial to meet our strategy aims of increasing awareness and understanding of bowel cancer across the UK. Our aim is to provide accurate information and advice about bowel cancer signs and symptoms.

At the moment we are a small group working at projects that reduce waste and we intend that Aberdeen and Shire become zero waste areas. Our next step is for more 'Trustees' to join with us to take on an officer of the board role.

Trustees look after Zero Tolerance's assets and make sure the charity fulfils its main aim, which is the prevention of violence against women in all its forms.

We are a not for profit community interest organisation supporting young people and children's mental health and wellbeing. Our Volunteer roles vary from organising and hosting workshops and assisting with community fundraising projects, face painting, entertainment and supporting local charities and events.

We are currently seeking volunteers to provide support during the week at our mum and child sessions. These sessions are provided to help families connect and support one another. Your main role would be set up room, hosting and speaking to parents and tidying the room.

Who Cares? Scotland Education and Engagement team are looking for a Virtual Education and Engagement volunteer to assist in the delivery of online sessions, discussing and reflecting on Corporate Parenting practice in relation to people with Care Experience.

As a 70/30 Ambassador you will be empowering your local community to protect our children by spreading awareness and gaining support to prevent child abuse and neglect from happening in the first place. You will gain new skills, and be part of a large network of volunteers and professionals, while making a real difference in your local community and across the UK.

WaterAid Speakers are trained volunteers that deliver inspiring talks and workshops, to raise awareness about the importance of clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, to transform peoples' lives for good.
