At Lead Scotland we believe in the power of learning. We believe that offering disabled people and carers the right supportive environment in which to learn and grow which enables the self-creation of positive futures in education, community involvement and work.

The Kincorth Community Centre Hub has great volunteer opportunities to assist with a range of activities at the Hub. Volunteer roles include supporting our busy community cafe, which has rapidly taken off, we currently open 9.30 -2.30, but our aim is to run a breakfast and supper club, as well as have the cafe open for activities in the evening.

Lead Scotland, is a voluntary organisation set up to empower disabled young people and adults and carers across Scotland to access learning opportunities. Lead Scotland is looking for two volunteers to support learners with basic computer skills in the Aberdeen City Centre area.

Join our team and become a Collection Tin Co-ordinator in your local area. We will provide you with five collection tins and you then find locations for them in your area. This could be in shops, public houses, takeaways or petrol stations. You then check them and bank the money when the tills are full.

Become a Community Champion and support us in our search for a cure for kidney disease. Raise awareness of kidney disease and the work of Kidney Research UK in your own local community. Fundraise for us by organising and planning events locally. Who knows their own local community? You!

Volunteers required to drive a 17-seater minibus for an over 50s walking group based at Kaimhill Learning Centre, Pitmedden Terrace. Drivers should be over 25 and under 70 and have category D1 on their driving licence. We are a friendly group who walk on Thursdays leaving the centre at 9.30am and usually return around mid afternoon.

We rely on donations of good quality, second hand furniture, textiles and bric a brac. in order for this to be sold at a reduced cost, the items need to be checked, cleaned and on some occasions built.

Jazz Scotland promotes, supports, develops and champions jazz and related musics in Scotland. Jazz Scotland is a registered charity. Jazz Scotland are currently inviting applications for new board members who are passionate about enabling Jazz Scotland's community of audiences, students and musicians to thrive

Help us make videos & short promotional clips and edit & produce them in a format that suits social media & websites. Express yourself, experiment and have fun while making a real difference. This is a great opportunity to develop your creative skills and gain experience in project management.

Help build and update our website and other community projects sites. You will have a lot of freedom as long as our centre has a fresh, clean and content filled website. We currently use pre-build website for all our website, so there is no need to be a professional web developer. Everyone with a positive attitude and a will for doing something nice for the community is welcome. This is a great opportunity to develop your IT skills and gain experience in project management.
