In September 2020, medical charity, Camphill Wellbeing Trust, took on the former Waldorf school site at Craigton Road to transform it into a centre demonstrating practical solutions for healthy, sustainable lifestyles. Compass offers a wide range of volunteering activities to suit a all sorts of interests and skills. Activities are generally outdoors so will vary according to the weather and the season.

As a Farm and Gardens Volunteer you will become part of a team within our farm and gardens, set in beautiful surroundings 5miles outside of Aberdeen city centre and close to the Deeside Railway line. The opportunity does not require you to have previous experience, we just ask that you are caring, patient and willing to help our pupils, have an interest in people and different ways of communications.

We are looking for office-based volunteers to assist with evening and Saturday cover to carry out general administrative duties and liaise and communicate with our staff, volunteer counsellors and clients.

The Caf4e & Company Lunch Club is an initiative delivered in partnership with Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership, aimed at combating social isolation among older adults in Bridge of Don. Running once a fortnight on Fridays, the Lunch Club offers a nutritious hot meal, engaging activities, entertainment, and ample opportunities for socialising and forming friendships.

The Butterfly Trust are a Scottish registered charity that offer direct one to one support to people living with Cystic Fibrosis. Mentors offer support to young adults with Cystic Fibrosis in improving socialisation, broadening horizons and exploring concerns to improve self-esteem, enhance coping skills and the person's quality of life.

The Archie Foundation exists to make the difference for children and their families accessing local NHS healthcare and in bereavement. Whatever age you are, and whatever your background is, if you have an interest in supporting the work that we do we would love to hear from you!

Volunteering is a fantastic way to make a difference to the life of someone else, and an opportunity to enhance your own life and build new skills. The support worker undertakes tasks that make a real difference to the quality of life for the young people we support. He/she is our first point of contact with clients responding to requests that are often for practical help but also just someone to talk to.

Our befrienders offer one to one support to a young person aged 8 to 18, who has Cystic Fibrosis. Young people living with this condition have a demanding daily treatment regime at home and sometimes experience limitations that can affect their confidence and ability to cope with the challenges of everyday living.
