This role involves supporting the food bank team in managing food donations. Food donations are sorted, weighed and packed ready for distribution to people in crisis. By helping to organise and prepare food safely and efficiently, you ensure that individuals and families receive the essential support they need, offering practical help and hope at a time when it matters most.

This role includes two volunteer opportunities, both operating on Mondays and Fridays: Collections Driver (non–client facing) – Collects food donations from supermarkets, schools, churches and other donors and Deliveries Driver (client facing) – Delivers three-day food parcels directly to clients’ homes.

We're looking for friendly, positive volunteers to support the delivery of our food share initiative which provides access to food supplies for many individuals and families across the City.  Duties will include restocking shelves, stock rotation, keeping the area clean and tidy and chatting and supporting those accessing the service.

The RNLI are looking for volunteers to help uncover Aberdeen’s Second World War history. From 1939 to 1945, RNLI crews continued to save lives at sea under extraordinary circumstances. We would like to recruit a group of volunteers to research, investigate and help uncover stories so we can remember this chapter of local history.

We’re seeking a Communications & Social Media Volunteer to help share TAMS’ story online and within our community. You’ll assist with updating our website and social media, promoting events and activities, and supporting volunteer communications like newsletters and email updates.

We’re looking for someone to help us keep TAMS thriving by supporting our fundraising efforts. The Fundraiser will take the lead on looking for new grants and funding opportunities, coordinating applications, and helping to report back to funders when needed.
