SC&T - Scottish Culture and Traditions is a charitable organisation dedicated to educating the public in Scottish traditional music song and dance with an emphasis on enjoyment and community. We run both adult and youth programmes of activities, including regular weekly classes, workshops, taster sessions, week-long camps and performance opportunities

The Snowdrop Cafe offers a calm, welcoming space for friendship, wellbeing and care. We’re looking for compassionate, friendly volunteers to provide a listening ear, offer signposting, serve refreshments and join in activities, helping create a warm, safe and enjoyable environment for guests and their families, friends and carers.

Support people living with a terminal illness and their families by providing compassionate companionship, practical support and short breaks for carers. You’ll also help recruit and support volunteers, promote the Marie Curie Companion service and help it reach more people in your local community.

We are looking for volunteer mentors to support young people aged 12 to 20 years old across Aberdeen City. Volunteer mentors support young people experiencing a range of challenging circumstances, to build confidence, overcome obstacles, awaken ambition and much more.

We currently have opportunities for people to volunteer as a Charity Trustee for the organisation. This will involve decision-making, helping with the management of the club's structure, designing policies or approving expenses in the interest of the club.

The Rowett Institute, University of Aberdeen promote sustainable nutrition and improve health and well-being through world-class research and education. As part of this we undertake a variety of human nutrition studies for which volunteers are needed.
