

Aberdeen Hindu Temple Trust (AHTT) is a registered charitable company (SC044908) company number (469306) that runs the Aberdeen Hindu Temple.
The Aberdeen Hindu Temple is the first of its kind in the North East of Scotland and is the only place of worship for the Hindu community in the region. Since the purchase of a property for the temple, religious and pastoral services are being provided to the community in the form of daily prayers, special poojas, festive occasion poojas, meditation services, DoE Duke of Edinburgh volunteering services for the youth (to name a few) by the Aberdeen Hindu Temple.
The Aberdeen Hindu Temple Trust is solely and completely responsible for the entire running and upkeep of the temple and the services it provides to the community. We are pleased to inform that there’s a full time qualified priest Mr. Ganesh Panditji employed by the trust to look after religious activities.
Our Mission: “To nurture a sacred, integrated and sustainable Hindu Temple that fosters spiritual growth, supports the community and promotes our faith for future generations.”



Volunteers at Aberdeen Hindu Temple Trust have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a number of ways: assisting with daily temple duties, welcoming visitors, supporting festival events, helping with communication and outreach, or working behind the scenes in administration, building upkeep and fundraising.
