Bucksburn Foodbank is a community-led initiative providing essential support to individuals and families in need in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen. Open every Tuesday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, we offer a wide range of food items, including tinned and packaged goods, fresh vegetables, fruit, and chilled and frozen produce.
Based at The Church Hall, 19 Oldmeldrum Road, Bucksburn (opposite The Staging Post), our aim is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. We are here to provide practical help in a welcoming and respectful environment, where everyone is treated with dignity and compassion.
Our work is made possible thanks to the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of donations. Every contribution - whether time, food, or support - helps us make a real difference in the lives of local people.
The Bucksburn Foodbank provides support to people in need. We are seeking people to help as Foodbank Assistants. This role requires someone who can help with setting up tables with both fresh and ambient food in the morning (from 10.00am) and then assisting our customers with their food selection in the afternoon (1.00pm-5.00pm).
