Girotondo Italian School is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO n. SC049175) responsible for organising Italian classes for children that have an Italian heritage, are Italian mother tongue, or are simply interested in Italian language and culture.
We are the only Italian school in Scotland officially recognised and funded by Italy's Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale (MAECI), working in collaboration with the Italian Consulate in Edinburgh.
We provide courses of Italian language to children and young people 5-17yo in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and online.
The assistant will support the teacher during class time, help students with activities assigned by the teacher and, if desired, can be involved in preparing materials and lessons. It is necessary to have a good knowledge of the Italian language and some experience with children and teenagers, preferably but not necessarily in teaching.
