About

The North Atlantic Fiddle Convention is a world-class event like no other. Returning to its founding venue in Aberdeen to celebrate its 25th anniversary from 24th–28th June 2026. The festival will bring together some of the world’s top musicians, dancers, and academics to perform and discuss the rich fiddle and dance traditions that have developed around the North Atlantic seaboard.

A unique, globe-trotting event for enthusiasts of fiddle music, dance, and learning, NAFCo is both an exhilarating festival and an international academic conference. The festival celebrates and showcases the very best of fiddle and dance styles from around the North Atlantic, while the conference attracts leading researchers in the field.

This special anniversary edition of NAFCo brings together artists, scholars, enthusiasts, and audiences from near and far to enjoy a diverse programme of activities over the 5 days including concerts, workshops, talks, a Youth Celebration and more!

Come and be part of the excitement - experience the performances, share in the stories, and celebrate the creativity at the heart of this unique cultural gathering.
