St George’s Community Centre is a community-led charity based in the heart of Tillydrone, Aberdeen. Managed and run by local residents, St G’s provides a welcoming, inclusive space where people can come together, access support, learn new skills and build connections within their community. The organisation was established to promote community development, wellbeing and opportunities for local people, working closely with other charities, community groups, schools and public services to strengthen support across Tillydrone.
Through a wide range of activities, events and community initiatives, St G’s offers something for everyone. From its Living Room Café, Coffee Club and Lunch Club to practical support for individuals and families facing hardship, the centre plays an important role in bringing people together and reducing isolation. The organisation also provides volunteering opportunities that allow local people to gain experience, develop confidence and make a positive difference in their neighbourhood.
At the heart of everything St George’s Community Centre does is a commitment to creating a friendly, supportive environment where everyone feels welcome, valued and part of the community.

If you enjoy meeting new people, making a cuppa, helping with simple food prep, or just being part of a friendly, welcoming space, we’d love to have you involved at St G’s. Our Living Room Cafe, Coffee Club and Lunch Club are busy, cheerful wee gatherings, and we’re looking for people who’d like to join in, lend a hand, chat with others, and help keep things running smoothly.
