Right now, 93 children in the Scotland are waiting for their life changing wish - you can help make that happen. This is a flexible, ad hoc, volunteer-led role that fits around your lifestyle and commitments. You decide how you'd like to support Make-A-Wish and how much time you can give.

Do you have a couple of hours to spare on a Wednesday afternoon? Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer with a local group who support people living locally with MS and other neurological conditions? Do you enjoy meeting with and chatting to new people? If so, we would like to hear from you!

Danestone and Persley Community Council would like to support an individual that is interested in local democracy and community resilience, at the grassroots level to assist us with administration tasks. This will involve working with the Community Councillors, taking action notes; responding to correspondence and social media support.

As a Volunteer Digital Tutor, you don't need to be an IT expert. Our volunteers provide one-to-one support in a relaxed, welcoming environment. The most important qualities are patience, good listening skills, and a willingness to help others learn at their own pace.

Sport Aberdeen has partnered with Sporting Memories Foundation Scotland to launch new social clubs in Aberdeen, and we are seeking friendly volunteers to facilitate and help support the sessions. Our Sporting Memories community clubs support adults who want to meet up with likeminded people to reconnect and reminisce about sport.

We have great opportunities this season for volunteers to be part of helping at our market stalls at the wonderful Victoria Park, Aberdeen on a Friday, 10am-1pm and/or helping prepare and sort the produce on a Thursday afternoon.
