About this opportunity

Home-Start Aberdeen supports local families, who may be vulnerable or suffering from isolation, with emotional and practical support in their own homes. Our charity shop, which has raised vital funds for our work since opening in 2012, is currently closed as we prepare to relocate to a new and improved space. We can’t wait to share more details soon - stay tuned for updates on our exciting new location! Find out more here.

The shop is always keen to recruit volunteers who might wish to assist with a number of activities, including sorting and pricing stock, arranging window displays, liaising with customers and lending a hand at special promotional events. No prior retail experience is required; our friendly shop staff team provide all volunteers with advice and guidance. Volunteering at the Home-Start Aberdeen shop is therefore an opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and gain confidence. It is also a meaningful way to support Home-Start Aberdeen's work with local families.
