Are you passionate about filming, editing and creating engaging social media content?

Your Love Rara is looking for creative volunteers who can help bring our charity's story to life through video.

We support children, young people and families across Aberdeen, and we want more people to see the incredible work happening behind the scenes.

We're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, experiment with different styles of content and help us reach new audiences.

What you'll be doing:

• Filming charity events, community activities and volunteer projects.
• Creating short videos, Instagram Reels and promotional content.
• Editing footage into engaging videos.
• Developing creative storytelling ideas to showcase our impact.
• Producing promotional videos for fundraising and sponsorship campaigns.
• Helping us develop a more engaging online presence.
• Working independently on creative projects and campaigns.

Who we're looking for:

• Someone with creativity, enthusiasm and an interest in videography or digital content creation.
• Experience with video editing software such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe would be helpful, but you don't need professional qualifications.
• We welcome students, aspiring filmmakers, content creators and experienced videographers. All volunteers receive a welcoming induction covering our charity, safeguarding, child protection, confidentiality and photography consent procedures. PVG checks will be arranged where required. Ongoing guidance, support and opportunities to develop photography skills will be provided by our team. We encourage creativity, confidence and personal development. We are also family-friendly and welcome parents who wish to bring their children along while volunteering, subject to suitable arrangements and supervision. We understand the challenges of balancing family commitments and volunteering and aim to make opportunities as flexible and inclusive as possible.
• As we work with children and young people, you'll need to follow our safeguarding, filming consent and confidentiality procedures.

What you'll gain:

• Real-world filming and editing experience, opportunities to develop your portfolio, creative freedom, recognition for your work and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
• Volunteers receive a complimentary hot meal for every four hours volunteered. We also welcome parents bringing their children along while volunteering, making opportunities more accessible and family-friendly. Travel expenses can be discussed individually.
