There are many ways you can get involved to make things better for your local community and influence how services are delivered in your area to meet your and your communities needs.

Volunteer Falls Ambassadors are a vital part of the Stand Up To Falls Team, helping with our falls awareness sessions in the community.  The Stand Up To Falls Team offer falls awareness in the community through our pop up stand with information, top tips and signposting.

Volunteers are essential part of the Charity and without the amazing team we have, all of the work we do and the support we provide to children and families wouldn't be possible. We always have great opportunities for people to help and make a difference for the children and families we support.

Seabank House is continually improving and and developing the service to meet the changing needs of our residents and supporting them to work towards achieving their full potential. We are actively looking for additional volunteers, with life experience to join the Board in taking our charity to the next step in their development.

Scarf is a charity/social enterprise delivering a range of services to householders, communities, and businesses throughout the Northeast of Scotland. We are very excited to be able to offer this opportunity for the right person to join our Board and contribute to the good governance of the organisation as well as assisting in achieving its aims and objectives moving forward.

The Allotment Market Stall provides good-quality, well-priced, locally grown fruit and vegetables and reduces waste. We have opportunities this season for volunteers to be a part of developing our nature friendly market garden, based at Grove Nursery, Hazlehead, Aberdeen

City of Aberdeen District is one of the largest Scout districts in Scotland with around 1200 young people and 370 adult volunteers at the last census. The District Lead Volunteer (DLV) is a key member of the District Leadership Team who leads and inspires volunteers to give young people great experiences and skills for life. They make sure their District teams are organised, have enough volunteers, and can deliver a great programme.

We work alongside and within Community Centres - Cornhill, Middlefield, Fersands and Tillydrone. We are building a base and planning to coordinate our services in these areas and have great opportunities for people to volunteer to assist in this. We will work with you with travel so you would be based more in one of the centres than moving around. Some volunteering can also be carried out from home via zoom or online.

MISS (Miscarriage Information Support Service) is an early pregnancy loss charity and we provide a range of support for women and partners who have suffered a miscarriage. Our support includes in person and virtual support groups, one-to-one's and a telephone service.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working with volunteers, although this is not essential. More importantly they will be a great communicator with fantastic organisational skills, who will play a key part in looking after our volunteers, helping them to grow and ensuring our volunteering processes run smoothly and efficiently
