The assistant will support the teacher during class time, help students with activities assigned by the teacher and, if desired, can be involved in preparing materials and lessons. It is necessary to have a good knowledge of the Italian language and some experience with children and teenagers, preferably but not necessarily in teaching.

Join Cancer Research UK's Race for Life Aberdeen volunteer team! The spectacular Cancer Research UK Aberdeen Race for Life takes place on Sunday 28th June 2026.We have a variety of great volunteer roles to support the event and the vital work of Cancer Research UK.

As a Community Champion volunteer, you will help raise awareness of alcohol harm and support positive change within your community. The role involves engaging with local groups, promoting campaigns, and helping spread information that encourages healthier attitudes towards alcohol.

Our Board plays a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and governance of the organisation. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting survivors of sexual violence and who have, or wish to develop, skills in leadership, management, finance, human resources, fundraising, or organisational development.

We have exciting opportunities for volunteers to come along and assist disabled members with various activities. We are seeking enthusiastic minibus drivers to join their team and ensure that members are transported safely to their weekly sessions at Inchgarth Community Centre.

We are looking for volunteers to help with an exciting event coming up in September in Seaton Park – Envirolution Aberdeen 2026! The event takes place in September 2026, with flexible times available to volunteer. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic event in one of Aberdeen's environmentally rich green spaces!

Join us on Saturday 23rd May 2026 at Aberdeen Beach, for a 4K walk organised by the The Period Place charity (the walk kicks off at the Aberdeen Beach Ballroom). Volunteers would be involved in the smooth running of the walk, either through helping with registering walkers, guiding the route or similar.
